Comments for Funny - Wheel of Fortune w/Bob Goen (March 1991): Rosie/Dave/Mary Rounds 2 & 3 - Video
@mylesspike119 Point of No Return was also a song by Expose in 1987...
I knew the Clue puzzle is Alabama. Too bad neither of them got it.
"DEN" on the yellow $200 ($900 in nighttime) in Round 2 and "TRIP" on the purple $100 that would be $150 in nighttime.
Also, anyone noticed that logo after the Gitano plug? That was used during the WDW eps, too (at least one).
@germanname1990 oh yeah..."The Pont of No Return" was a great song...i'm playing some Kansas now...lol
Kansas is a good band, David. A lot of good bands named after geographic locations seemed to have done very well, like Chicago (named after my hometown), Europe, and my most favorite of them, Boston. Also, that orange band at 4:48 brings back memories. I remember seeing them all the time in medicine commercials, but not at all anymore. Gosh, I've always wanted to know what those band things were called!
@mylesspike119 I heard "Carry On Wayward Son," but I'm unsure about "Dust In The Wind." But, Myles, have you heard "The Point of No Return" at all? That's a good one.
@DownsA530 Kansas is good band...i usuallly listen to their songs such as "Carry On Wayward Son" and "Dust in the Wind."
Good category for Clue.
Rosie said "Kansas", but that's correct. Although, to be honest, I never heard of the band Kansas until I looked it up lol!
Rosie was right the Clue answer "ALABAMA."
I like the Caribbean prize music for 3rd round.
That's true. In this version of Wheel, every dollar was hard-earned lol.
I'm glad that they credited Rosie with the correct response to the "Clue" puzzle and got the $250. However, Rosie would have been winner of that game even if they didn't accept her response and credit her with the $250 for the correct response.
Is that the dreadded Clorets commercial @ 5:42?
@DownsA530 I'm glad they gave her credit as well. At least it wouldn't have affected the outcome either way.
Perhaps. They realized after the break they were too vague in what they wanted, and correctly gave her the $250. I liked that they did that.
I was surprised they didn't accept Kansas as the answer to the singing group at first. I guess Alabama must've been the more popular group at the time. |
